Our Berry Blossom honey is ready and at local farmer’s market!

Honey time is here! We’ve harvested our first berry blossom honey of the year.
We’ve been a bit slow in getting our honey extracted and bottled this summer, what with the early spring and the fact we just couldn’t keep up with the unexpected work.
It’s surprising how spring, three weeks early, can really throw a wrench into the works. For a small operation like ours that little time shift makes it tough to stay on track with all the jobs that come with spring bee time.
But now, I’m happy to say we have some of the honey we’ve collected from our berry pollination jobs extracted and bottled.

Raspberry season means berry honey for us. We've produced our light golden honey this week from hives that were out in pollination in June. Photo: Jeff Lee

It’s that fruit-tinged “berry blossom” that adds such a lovely flavour to the tongue. Freshly extracted, lightly filtered, pure raw honey with no additives or extras. Just good ol’ local honey!
We’re going to be at the UBC Farm “Farmer’s Market” on Saturday, July 11.

Location: UBC Farmers’ Market
Address: 3461 Ross Drive, Vancouver, BC V6T 1W5
